Little Bird, I know you've come a long, long way Little Bird, It's getting cold, here you can stay Little Bird, so sorry for my tears But I've been looking at this world too many years For far too many years I see a family starvin' I se their baby crying through the night But I am cast in bronze with Gilt to give me shimmer Take the ruby from my hilt to them to make it right I see soldier dyin' I see the hope disappear from his eyes Take the diamond from the ring around my finger So he can think of his love while he dies And peel the gold from my body For the women raising children alone And pluck the gems from the crown on my brow What use are they to me standing her alone? Little Bird, my heart breaks to hear you dyin' Little Bird, resting there beneath my feet And I can hear the voices of the Angels Taking you your maker for to meet (and they say) Little Bird, we know you've come a long, long way Little Bird, It's getting cold, here you can stay Little Bird, so sorry for our tears But we've been looking at this world too many years For far too many years

The stars were our symphony Together floating we were free But there’s a new first mate now on your bridge Heard it on your radio, you see I used to have your frequency Now I’m colder than the meatloaf in your fridge Your upside has got me down My head is spinning round and round My heart is sinking under your gravity (Beat) You leave me devoid of breath I’m drifting closer to my death Don’t know which way I’ll go to be free There are no directions in space But everywhere I see your face When listening to the silence I hear you talk I’m going mad trapped in this ship I can’t get a clue so I’ll get a grip I think I’ll go outside and take a walk Your upside has got me down My head is spinning round and round I’m like a watch where all the gears have sprung I miss your voice I miss your touch I miss your smile oh, so much But I especially miss that thing you do with your tongue Upside Down You Vex Why do you drive me insane? Vertigo is here. Upside Down I Cry Who will save me from my fate? My voice is alone. Upside Down is here Orientation is where? No One Hears Me Scream. Upside Down inside Outer Space is very cruel The Capsule is cold Upside Down Outside The hatch is stuck - Not for Long Air Slowly Leaves me Upside down out there I wonder if it's friendly The view is awesome Your upside has got me down My head is spinning round and round And now the air is hissing out my suit Before dementia takes me away There’s one important thing I must say (slurs) Toenail doorknob semen who’s a pretty bird? Hahahahahaha....

You've been working for peanuts man You've been working to fill your hand But the currency in this land Is irrelevant in the end Cause when all is said and done Who knows where you'll be in the morning What on Earth have you learned from me? I'd have thought you'd have learned to see That the beauty in life comes free You're just paying for misery Would you promise to love yourself Just imagine you're someone else Do some good for your mental health Put the negative words on the shelf Cause no matter what's been said You decide who you are in the morning What on Earth have you learned from me? I'd have thought you'd have learned to read Through the lines to the parts where we Don't take you so seriously My celebrity is wearing thin each day They've been twisting my words and attacking everything I say Who on Earth will stay beside me as I pray Who on Earth will fall asleep when Judas comes my way When Judas comes my way I've made enemies left and right Just by stepping into the light Now they're looking to start a fight Cause they don't want to change their lives And the fool upon the hill Will be gone by the light of the morning What on Earth have you done to me? You've made everyone start to believe That I'm more than a guy walking on two feet All I wanted was love and peace It was love and peace

On a mountain top Sits a flower too pure Whomever plucks this rose Will live forever And yet the thorns that adorn this crown Will poisen and kill all who try And so every day it wilts Moanna, climb this mount All mens' fears and doubt They may cut your hands and feet But you'll reach your seat by me On your throne, I will wait patiently Moanna, watch this world Shrink beneath you They would pull you down, away From the life for which you were Born to live eternally Moanna, tear your flesh On these wicked thorns Wash these stones with the Blood of your one inner Innocence, Immortal Moana, leave your shell That broken form Give up your ghost, the most You'll ever lose again
6.
There's a light in the sky And through the oaken leaves and Spanish moss it shines And you and I Once again keep our date with the constellations On a highway to nowhere Through a tunnel of oak A bitter sweet reunion A past life, a lost soul lingers within me still And here I stand beneath the Blood Moon As I have for twenty years Trembling with the expectation That I'll find you here. And I can see you Pulling the mist like a cloak about you And I can feel you As cold as never caring Do you bring darkness down on me Or is it just the night? Will you escape my tender touch As we relive our dance tonight? The breath of life escaping Through my fingers slipping May the the Earth embrace you Where I left you 'neath the Blood Moon long ago. And here I stand beneath the Blood Moon As I have for twenty years Trembling with the expectation That I'll find you here, Where I left you 'neath the Blood Moon long ago.

I won a free trip to spend a week, On a small island in the sea. And who could resist that paradise, A tropical luxury. So I sat on the beach sipping lemonade, For that is the life for me. The next day I found a wooden box, With an odd-looking paper scrap, I studied its symbols carefully, And learned that it was a map. But right then I was grabbed by some strong-armed men I'd fallen into their trap. They told me about a pirate crew, Who had sailed here in times of old, They came to this island in a storm, To bury their stash of gold. But they never returned to reclaim their loot: A chest filled with wealth untold. They needed my help to read the map. And they told me they had a gun. We marched through the jungle all day long, While I sweated in the sun, Then we came to the edge a rocky cliff, Our journey was nearly done. Go twelve paces north from the cliff, Then twenty paces west to a rock, Go ten paces north to a giant tree. X marks the spot. We went to the place the map had marked, And they made me dig up the ground, Eventually I heard a thud, Of something that I had found, Then a small squad of men from the CIA, Emerged from the woods around. They'd been tracking down these criminals, With the local authority, They took all the crooks, but let me go, With a ten percent Finder's fee. Now I'm back on the beach, sipping lemonade, For that is the life for me. Yes that is the life for me

Will it be me … I wrote the letter thousands of times hundreds of chords millions of rhymes Situation's not really fine - so unlikely you'll change your mind. I look like I have lots of power from some some distant future to give you an answer I come to your present preempt your mistake But people are still going to make the decisions they make I already know… It does no good to remind me… Still I try But you've nothing there to pull you out of the fire back into the future of the frying pan where you decide Will it be me? Change only comes from the pain that you run from

Truth to tell, I’m the daughter of Bacchus, and me mam is the goddess of beer And with that pedigree why it’s easy to see , the reason that I’m standing here Like a bottle of spirits unending, I’ve a lot and I’m willing to share Tis no idle boast, but the drink I love most If you choose to rise to my dare So come along love put your lips upon mine Have a sip of me wine For the vintage is fine Come along love while we still have the time Come put your lips upon mine You can learn quite a lot from a bottle; if it’s cold, warm it up in your hand See the fine curving shape, the sweet scent of the grape Know the contents are bound to be grand Have a care as you open the vessel- no need to rush something so nice For with women and wine you should always take time And always be sure of the price So come along love put your lips upon mine Have a sip of me wine For the vintage is fine Come along love while we still have the time Come put your lips upon mine There’s whisky and wine and there’s brandy; there’s wheat beers and porters and stout Whatever you brew there is one thing that’s true- what you put in is what will come out The contents need careful attention, but they will be worth all the work There is joy in the act, just remember one fact- A good bottle needs a good cork So come along love put your lips upon mine Have a sip of me wine For the vintage is fine Come along love while we still have the time Come put your lips upon mine Now once you’ve removed the cork slowly, I pray let me breathe for a while Then go with a will to finish your fill and I’ll wager I’ll give you a smile! There are many the tastes and the flavors, and there’s many the hard drinking man And there’s many the pigs after one or two swigs Who can’t do what they said that they can So come along love put your lips upon mine Have a sip of me wine For the vintage is fine Come along love while we still have the time Come put your lips upon mine There’s a reason why wine has been worshipped, as into it slowly you sink Be sure that it’s true I know better than you of a liquor that’s quicker than drink Tis a potion that’s bound to lift spirits, a cordial that’s cordial indeed A libation of joy for us all to enjoy, a medicine for every need So come along love put your lips upon mine Have a sip of me wine For the vintage is fine Come along love while we still have the time Come put your lips upon mine Now be careful of over indulgence; you can have too much of a good thing! Your head starts to ache and your body to shake, and you’ll sometimes learn just what storks bring For there’s life in the yeast as it’s brewing, and there’s love that will grow with a kiss Don’t pass up the chance though to join in the dance, tis a pleasure you won’t want to miss. So come along love put your lips upon mine Have a sip of me wine For the vintage is fine Come along love while we still have the time Come put your lips upon mine

This project was put together by Edric Haleen. You can find out more about Edric by clicking the link:

Each participant came up with a challenge for someone else, and the challenges were randomly assigned on the evening of March 18th, 2011. All of the participants then had three weeks to finish their recordings.

Well, first, JoAnn Abbott challenged Ross Durand to write a song that retells a fairy tale.

Next, Ross Durand challenged BoffoYuxDudes with the intentionally vague, “Upside-down.”

In retaliation, BoffoYuxDudes challenged Charlie McCarron to write an entirely new song that mashes up the titles of two other well-known songs!

Just to keep things interesting, Charlie McCarron challenged Graham Porter to write a new song for the credits of one of his [Graham’s] favorite movies.

In turn, Graham Porter challenged Dr. Lindyke to write a song about something or someone being haunted.

After that, Dr. Lindyke challenged Bryce Jensen to write a entertaining, military-themed song.

Upping the ante, Bryce Jensen challenged Caleb Hines to write a song (in the first-person) “about an imagined adventure in a place you long to visit.”

As if that weren’t enough, Caleb Hines challenged Duality to write a song that is, in fact, a letter from the future!

In keeping with the spirit of things, Duality challenged Edric Haleen to write a song about any internal organ below the neck except the heart!

Not to be outdone, Edric Haleen challenged Dave Gorbe to write a song that doesn’t use the letter “n” anywhere in the entire lyric!

Finally, Dave Gorbe challenged JoAnn Abbott to write a song in the [fine!] tradition of a drinking song.
