This song deals with a particular character in Neil Gaiman's "The Graveyard Book" that represents death known as The Lady On The Gray. In the story she's not someone to be feared but is rather seen as a benevolent guide to whatever a person's afterlife may be. Written from the point of view of someone recently deceased who is journeying with The Lady, this song delves into all the incredible sensory experiences and awesome adventures one man has on his way to being dead.
