It was really difficult for me to think of a topic to write about for this challenge. I decided on vulnerability because the idea of recording a song with just me... my voice, my body, my song... made me feel very exposed.

This song is from the perspective of a person in a new relationship. He has a past and a reputation and really doesn't feel like he deserves this new partner that he thinks is wonderful. He is worried that when she finds out more about him, she'll ask him to leave. But part of him almost wants this person that makes him so happy to leave him, because he really doesn't think he's the best choice for her.
