about
I always enjoyed songs that aren't quite what they seem. When thinking of what to write for a romantic song, my first thought went to sultry french behind an acoustic track. However, I don't speak very much French, but why should that stop me? Or better yet, why should that stop anyone from trying to find love, especially in France! Enjoy!
lyrics
I remember you sittin’ there at the café
Sippin’ your tea on the seine
I don’t speak a word of your language
But I don’t care now, and I didn’t care then
je ne parle français, l’amor
Je écoute au fromage tous les jours
je ne parle français, l’amor
Je ne sais pas qui dire
You smiled at me and I felt my heart dance
The angels were singing at your every glance
Our forbidden love, forbidden words,
I couldn’t have you I were able
My princess locked in the tower of Babel
je ne parle français, l’amor
Je écoute au fromage tous les jours
je ne parle français, l’amor
Je ne sais pas qui dire
Your last words to me, are scared in my mind
I won’t forget them, till the day, I die
Vous etes bizzare
Vous etes bizzare
Si vous plait partez
Vous etes bizzare
je ne parle français, l’amor
Je écoute au fromage tous les jours
je ne parle français, l’amor
Je ne sais pas qui dire
